Understanding The Office Of The Apostle

In Ephesians 4, Paul tells us of five ministry gifts, which are Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers.  Understanding these gifts is crucial to your spiritual development. The early church was run by apostles, yet today we do not know what an apostle is or what they do. If we don’t know what this gift is, the one considered most important in the New Testament, how can we be fully trained up into what God has meant us to be? Apostles are not pastors nor are they evangelists, and by treating them as such, your spiritual growth will be limited. The early church started out with 12 apostles all the other offices came after. The church once again needs to be led by God’s apostles.
